What it is
The most widespread accounting system in Russia: bookkeeping, warehouse, sales, payroll. Stock and orders usually live in it, so integrations often start there.
How we use it
In automation projects we connect 1C with marketplaces and a CRM in one chain: stock, orders, prices. In the IT help desk, the PC program also lists the 1C databases on every computer.
Where it helps a business
1C is the most widespread accounting system in Russia, so this page matters mostly to businesses working there.
- Stock and prices live in 1C, while on marketplaces and in spreadsheets they are updated by hand.
- Marketplace orders need to reach the books without copying.
- The company has dozens of computers, and nobody knows exactly which 1C databases sit where.
How we use it
- A chain around 1C. Under Automation we connect 1C, marketplaces and a CRM into one chain with n8n or a dedicated service: stock sync, order import, price updates.
- An inventory of databases. In the IT help desk the PC program collects the list of 1C databases on each computer along with its passport, with no office walk-through.
Common problems
- No access to the data. Before building a chain, the audit establishes how 1C exposes its data: exports or programmatic access.
- Two sources of truth. If stock is edited both in 1C and on the marketplace, they drift apart; the main source must be chosen in advance.
When you do not need it
If there are few products and stock changes rarely, a manual export once a week is cheaper than an integration.
