What it is
Programmatic access to a seller account: stock, prices, orders, delivery slots. Through it a bot or workflow does what a manager would do by hand in the dashboard.
How we use it
Wildberries delivery-slot monitoring with Telegram alerts, stock and price sync, order import. Runs around the clock on the client's server.
Where it helps a business
- During holidays Wildberries warehouse delivery slots are snapped up within minutes, and a manager cannot catch them.
- Stock and prices must match across the accounting system, the marketplaces and a spreadsheet.
- New orders should reach the books without being copied from the dashboard.
How we use it
For a Wildberries supplier we built a slot monitoring bot: it polls the API every 30 seconds and sends a free slot to Telegram, filtered by warehouse, date and acceptance ratio. The message has a direct booking link, and going from alert to booked slot takes about 10 seconds. A person makes the decision, and the bot runs on a server around the clock.
Connecting marketplaces with accounting systems and a CRM (stock sync, order import, price updates) is done with n8n or a dedicated Python service under Automation.
Common problems
- Noise. Without filters by warehouse, date and ratio the bot sends everything, and what matters gets lost. Filters are tuned to the supplier.
- Book or notify. An automatic action without a person is costly when it goes wrong, so in our work the bot only notifies, and a person books through the link.
- The integration needs maintenance. A marketplace changes its API without asking you, so the connection needs looking after, not "set and forget".
When you do not need it
If you ship rarely and slots are free, checking the dashboard by hand is enough. And if stock changes once a week, synchronisation can wait: exporting a spreadsheet is simpler.
